The Shh! Bar opened last Friday 24th Nov with help from the Heritage lottery funded regeneration project and is an American themed 1920's Speakeasy bar complete with baby grand piano,photo's of 'flappers' ect and other curios from the prohibition era.Called in Saturday lunchtime and although no cask found the place very smart and the bar staff friendly and with Jazz FM playing in the background had a very relaxing 20 mins.Very soon they will be commencing live music as well as jazz nights and eventually the upstairs area will be turned into a bistro.
Very nice in here but thought the place would be better suited in the centre of Manchester and not sure if Blackburn is ready for this one.
