Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Beyond the Pale

Looks a bit like a micro-pub, but this is more of a bottle shop, gin and cocktail bar with no real ale; just three draught beers and a cider on the keg taps. Being thirsty, I went for the Poretti (£4.20), but this one seems like a missed opportunity for a broader clientele.

Called in this modern micropub to find this is a bar with 4 taps and a well planned bottled beer booklet but no cask ale. We chose a couple of bottles from the American list and found them reasonably priced. They also serve wines and cocktails.
