This establishment has now closed. A sign on the door indicates that it was seized by the landlord in January 2018.

A retail unit conversion on the pedestrianized Marlowes street which serves as Hemel's 'new' High Street (the 'old' High Street is a 5-minute march further north). Light, bright, and aimed at a certain age demographic, there's at least a concession to us beards (Doom Bar), but loud music predominates here, so conversation has to be of the shouted variety. It's actually quite a tasteful conversion to be fair, and framed gold 7-inch singles in a corner as well as a vodka/whisky bottle label wallpaper are nice touches. I partied like it was 1996, and had a bottle of Hooch (the alcoholic lemonade not illegal moonshine).
