Moby Duck left this review about The Stoneworks
A modern but characterful craft bar with 23 taps behind the bar, as mentioned the shuffle board table is a feature. I had an Abyss Super Pale, a tried and tested beer for me and it didn't disappoint.
This is a bar I'd have no problem returning to.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Stoneworks
Modern craft beer bar with a slight raised counter area at the far end of the elongated single room featuring 23 keg taps on the bar-back. Quite dark inside, and not a huge amount of seating (partly explained by the space occupied by a shuffleboard table) although there are also a couple of tables at the front. Regular tap takeovers, with ten from Leigh on Sea - including my Beach Hut (£3.75, half) - and 12 from Abyss when we called in.

They're going for a Scandi craft bar feel in here and to that extent they have done it fairly well with wood, exposed brick, dark green paint, an eclectic set of seating options and a shuffle board. Servery is at the far end up a couple of steps. Very friendly and helpful service with tasters offered from the 20 or so options. Unfortunately for me the choice seemed to be mainly lagers, pales and supersweets though the sideways slates weren't helpful for making a decision. My CRAK Farm After Sauna was OK, the white wine barrel aged Freaky Deaky (the barmaid’s recommendation) was much more my thing. It's a decent stab at something different, shame that only me and an obese Jock were the only punters on a Sunday afternoon. I’d be happy to try it again.
