Cassidy’s has street level seating across the front windows and then steps up to the bar area where a counter runs up the left while facing high tables to the right. Banquette seating runs up the right and left at the rear, but the handful of locals in attendance on a recent Tuesday evening were sat at the high tables opposite the counter. There was some Country & Western music playing in the background, but everyone was really waiting for the Man City Champions League match to start. The extremely welcoming and chatty barmaid hailed from Ireland, so I decided to have my first Guinness in a while which went down a treat. I wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit, but I’d certainly stop by if passing.
