Strongers . left this review about No 1 Middle Street
No. 1 Middle Street is a small bar that was empty when I visited just after 20:00 on a recent Saturday. The lone draught pump badged with Estrella was off so I was left with a small bottle of San Miguel which set me back an eye watering £4.50. No wonder it was empty! It is open until 3am and advertises itself as Brighton’s elite urban night, which translates to Brighton’s bloody expensive night. I was charged less in the Grand Hotel!
I enjoyed the chilled dance music and noted that there is an upstairs ‘lounge bar’ and that live DJs are advertised. I’ll not be setting foot in here again.
