Horatio’s is located at the end of Brighton Pier on the periphery of the fun fair. Out the front there is umbrella covered seating behind a white waist high picket fence. On the other side of the building is a surprisingly large picnic table strewn beer garden with lovely views to the East. There was only one other customer when I visited on a recent Friday afternoon, but it still took a while to be served. The interior is open plan with a large projector screen and a couple of plasma screens for showing live sport. Saturday night live music takes place in the adjacent Glitterball Karaoke Bar (I’m not sure that the GKB should have its own entry on PuG). This bar was closed, but there was some background music playing in the main bar.
I could enjoy an extended stay sitting outside on a nice summer’s day, but I wouldn’t trek all the way to the end of the pier again just to sit in this pub.
