A very pleasant micropub with the bar on the right as you enter, the rest of the place is full of standard tables and chairs. We ordered 3 pints when we went in and the landlord said " You're not going to the beer festival then as everyone else is on halves". He was right, we weren't, we were meeting up with some friends at Bowland brewery. I enjoyed it here and the pint was in excellent condition. If I'm ever around here again, I'll definitely call in.

Visited again in February on a midweek afternoon. Five hand pulls at the bar - I went for Sabro Krush (Two By Two Brewing) at £2.50 for a half and it was gorgeous, definitely my best beer if the day. Keg options available too.

There are two separate units knocked through to form two rooms. There are bare boards, music was playing, and there was a good atmosphere with a couple of tables occupied at the time of my arrival. I received a nice welcome, which always goes some way to make a decent first impression.

Toilets are upstairs, hidden by a curtain at the time of my visit.

Two tier ‘sort-of’ micro with interior as described by the reviewers below, timber-cladding in style. Friendly and atmospheric. Slurps of Yorkshireman by Craven Brew Co and Crying Lightning by Farm Yard Brew Co were easily GBG quality (NBSS 4 and 3.5).
