like the Market Tavern nearby it's very much a barn. very very busy and decor you'd expect from what was a nightclub for a while. real ales from Moorhouses and Jennings at £2.25 a pint. basically a wet-led Spoons with terrible service to match.

The Nelson is the new incarnation of the old pub that closed for a few years. Its split into 2 with one side a chippy restaurant, the other the pub. 2 real ales available. Cumberland and the crap Doom Bar on this visit.
