Four hand pumps, two not used the other two dispensing ales from Tudor (new one for me need to Google that one), the Skirrid Welsh Bitter and the Blorenge Golden Ale. The keg offering was pretty good for the area also, comprising Staro, a cider called Apples, Yawn from Flowerhorn, Camden Pale Ale, Mahou, Carling, Guinness, Flo Rider, a tropical pale ale from Glamorgan Brewing, and Sharps Cold River cider.

This is very modern and plush roadside pub in the Vale of Glamorgan village that is Sully. The car parking is the other side of the main road. Inside it is bare boarded and there are some regular tables and chairs inside the entrance before you walk through to the bar area up a couple of steps. Before this there is an arch at the side of a fancy tiled wall that takes you into a seating area with tan leather banquettes, regular chairs and tables laid for diners. A small snug lined up with the top of the steps in the bar area has some leather benches and a table with the area obviously aimed at a group of drinkers / diners. The area around the bar has regular tables and chairs and some tall tables with unbacked stools on the wall opposite the bar counter. Beyond the bar area is another area with regular tables and chairs and this is where the diners were mostly placed on my early evening visit. Beyond that was a set of glass patio doors leading out onto a paved area with typical patio furniture. All told, a bit modern and a bit fancy but I thought this was a decent pub well worth seeking out if in the area. The pump clips on the wall behind the bar suggest they have some interesting cask beers.
