A two roomed micro that opened in December 2014, it used to be the cellar of the Half Moon club. This micropub has also received numerous Camra awards, which are displayed behind the bar. The interior is carpeted throughout and the paintwork was in cream and terracotta with some brick patterned wallpaper here and there. There was buttoned banquette seating and the frames were reclaimed from the local Black Horse, which is now closed. Four handpumps with two ales from Maxim and two from Roundhill Brewery. We went for the Roundhill Pale, which was a decent drink. The owners and locals were welcoming.
