Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Drift
Very upmarket bar / restaurant on the ground floor of the Heron Tower (Houndsditch side). Wedge-shaped bar (partly reserved for a large group) with a triple-height ceiling plus a small side branch under the staircase leading up to the mezzanine restaurant. Smart modern furniture throughout. Also has a patio area out front. No real ale, but a range of keg offerings from the three five-tap shiny founts including Meantime Yakima Red (£5.10).
