The Odd fellows is newish bar that i was told is a replacement for the old Oddfellows Hall pub.
Hard to find so i asked at the market place, just walk down to the Hockney and between there and costa coffee.
Once inside there is a decent sized L shaped room with the bar to the rear right, the room is carpeted, the seating comfy bench type on the left side and small stools, there is also a pool table to the front left.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Salamander Mud Puppy which was a decent drink, the other beers noted were Baildon Blonde and one more i can not read the notes of.
Decent background music was playing and the pub was reasonably busy on my early Saturday evening visit.
It may be the lack of windows that puts people off,but i have been in far worse pubs so this was in my opinion a decent enough pub to have a drink in.

A cellar like bar with semi circular counter in a corner that is home to 6 pulls, one on cider the others with beers from local breweries, there are no windows, the only natural light comes in through the open door. There's fairly plain decor with prints and advertising mirrors and a pool table to one side where there is also a horseshoe of built in seating with Britannia tables. A pump clip display shows a few interesting beers. It's a bit hard to find as it's in a parking area up past the back of the Hockney and Costa Coffee. The beer was fine so I'm not as dismissive as A&H. Bigger than a micropub and with an odd bunch of relatively friendly regulars, and it's not everyday you see a game of blindfolded kerplunk played between a monkey and a giant penis.

Without a doubt, one of the strangest and most unsettling drinking venues I have ever been in. Tucked away behind a terrace of shops, in Shipley town centre, when you go through the pub door it feels like you should be entering one of the delivery bays.
Internally, it’s a small L-shaped one roomer, with the bar to the right hand side and a small area of upholstered wall benches to the left, opposite a pool table. Décor is minimal, with just a few pub mirrors on the maroon walls, contrasted by the purple striped wallpaper. The room is windowless, with the only natural light coming from the door. This makes the room feel rather dark and dingy, and in all honesty, a little claustrophobic.
Two regular beers are normally available and up to four guests. Unfortunately, only two hand pumps were in use, during my visit, dispensing Bingley ‘Thirst Brew’ and Copper Dragon ‘Black Gold’. Opting for the former, it was in reasonable condition, but sadly just a bit of a dull beer. However, service from the young barman was welcoming and friendly. It was fairly quiet on my early Saturday afternoon visit, with only four other punters, playing pool, but something about the place made me feel rather ill at ease, compelling me to finish my half in short order and move on. I really can’t see myself returning, unless it’s just for one, when on a crawl with others. Just not my sort of thing.
