The Lord Roberts is an L-shaped wooden floored music led pub with a stage emblazed with ‘Bob’s Live Music’ to the left. To the left of this stage is a pool table and a central L-shaped bar sits on the rear wall where standard keg and Madri are available. There are high tables opposite the bar in the centre of the pub and curved banquettes runs along the front windows. To the right is a carvery serving area, available on Sundays. Televisions throughout were airing the local news with sound while the jukebox sat silent due to no money from the three other customers. Live football is advertised. The service wasn’t very pleasant and I didn’t like the layout of the pub so I’ll not be returning.
