I think we can all guess what this micropub's former business was, there is a cabinet on the right hand wall as you enter with boot and shoe related items. The interior consists of a front room with a boarded floor, white painted walls and some stained pine paneling around the perimeter walls. The Bar and back bar were veneered oak along with a thick pine bar counter. There was also a rear carpeted snug. The seating throughout was low round tables and short round stools, plus bench seating.
The three of us weren't here too long before we struck up conversation with the locals.
Five handpumps, Three Brothers AU, Barnsley Bitter, Rudgate Chocolate Stout, Saltaire Krusher and Helmsley Striding the Riding. All the beers we tried were in tip top condition.
