Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Rifle Volunteer

The Rifle Volunteer had been on my list to visit in Cornwall but I'd discovered from the landlady and The Olde Plough Inn in nearby Bere Ferrers that it had closed on my visit there the previous day. I did pass by the pub and saw there was a notice on the door but didn't stop to read it. Unfortunately, I'd finally arrived here a week or two too late.

The pub enjoys a prominent position on an A road. So, hopefully somebody else can re-start the business.
