Strongers . left this review about Silk House
Silk House is a hotel with seven en suite rooms and a small lounge bar which is accessed to the left of the entrance. There’s a mix of seating across the front and up the left, and a serving counter sits on the right wall to the rear, four premium keg options were available alongside Guinness. There was some background music from the 80s playing in the background during my recent Tuesday evening visit when I found myself to be the only customer. This isn’t somewhere I would go again just for a beer, but I would be very happy if I was a guest and found this comfortable bar and very hospitable host downstairs from my room.
