It was lively here at about 6:30 on a Friday early evening, with a crowd of 20 t0 30 making the place seem smaller than it probably would have at opening time. This fairly ordinary looking house has been opened out into one large room, with some pretty hefty beams doing a lot of work on that ceiling. There are two hand pumps, with just Hobgoblin Gold on, in reasonable nick and costing the equivalent of £3.50/pint. (They were not accepting card payments here at the time of my visit.)
