The Stable Gate is a Brewer’s Fayre pub located next to a Premier Inn so it acts as its dining area. The entrance leads to an L-shaped bar that supports a standard keg range alongside Madri and Sharp’s Doom Bar from the lone handpump. The bar counter faces a table to the right that sits next to a raised seating area with ten tables that are overlooked by a couple of televisions that were showing muted Sky News. The much larger left hand side of the pub houses a carvery and all the seating is for dining. The service was polite, but I wouldn’t go here again just for a beer.
