A large modern bar/bistro with great views over the mouth of the estuary. Slate grey and pastel shades inside along with gentlefolk eating. There is some nicely-appointed balcony seating with views over the water to the bank beyond. Perhaps unexpectedly, there’s also discrete pool room. Two ales on (a surprise) - Doom Bar and Brains Rev James, the latter of which was a bit tinny-tasting. It is what it is but as a welcome stop on the Wales Coast Path after a long slog prior, I certainly wasn’t going to complain.
