This is a new offering from Sixes Social Cricket where they have morphed the previous cricket venue into a baseball activity bar. There is a small bar at the front with a seating area looking at the flood of shoppers on their way into and out of the shopping centre. The main space is up a long flight of stairs with the faux grass frontier bar counter studded with baseballs against the left-hand wall about mid floor space and with a colourful tiled skirt. The front part is bare boarded and has some tall tables with colourful stools and then some green fabric booth tables along the left-hand wall before you reach the bar counter. There are some stools at the bar counter and a couple of tall tables opposite the bar counter. The venue becomes colourfully carpeted to the back of the space beyond the bar counter and there is a small seating area at the very back leading out onto a small terrace with colourful stools overlooking (we'll not quite overlooking) the shopping centre. The rest of the floor space, particularly along the right-hand side and towards the back are taken up with the baseball cages and even at my early evening visit time they were already in good use. The TV screens were showing recorded sport action (not all baseball) and there was a heavy pop soundtrack being played presumably to lift activity participants to new heights of performance. Me I was happy sitting looking at my phone and sipping my pint of Guinness.
