A wonderful sandstone building from outside and many people still use it as a wedding venue. sadly it's now a distinctly unglamorous Hungry Horse McPubRestaurant with limited charm. I must say the appeal of these places completely passes me by, but I suppose it's functional enough and your bog standard Greene King real ales are available. there are infinitely better places to drink and eat in Orrell, go to one of them instead.
