Strongers . left this review about The New Wellington
The entrance of the New Wellington opens onto some high tables that are faced by the serving counter that runs along the left-hand wall. To the right of the entrance is a small raised seating area and then banquettes run across the front wall and up the right-hand wall to the rear. Open plan seating in the centre is split up by a dividing wall that houses an electric heater that looks like a burner. Televisions throughout were airing muted Racing TV while some background music played for the ten or so locals in attendance on a recent Monday afternoon. There’s no cask in here with only standard and premium keg being available from the polite barmaid. This isn’t somewhere that I’ll be seeking out again.

Large pub just off the main road in Garston which has recently re-opened after a smart refurb.Called in around 11am on a Monday where already a few locals were trying a pint or two.Although no cask on, found the pub pleasant enough though with a friendly Landlord who even brought the morning paper over to my table for a quick perusal.
