Alan Winfield left this review about Sycamore Inn
The Sycamore Inn is a typical early 70s built estate pub, that is on the st anns estate,it is unusuall in that it is still open, most of the replacement pubs built when st anns was cleared in the late 60s have long gone.
Once inside the pub had two decent sized rooms with a smart and comfy lounge and a more basic bar,as with most st anns pubs this one had a very rough edge to it.
The pub was an Home Ales tied house and there were two real ales on the bar,the Home bitter was a decent enough drink here.
There are now no real ales on here with the rubbish John Smiths smooth ruling the roost here.
