Up on the rear wall behind the counter is the unmistakeable BrewDog white beer board that lists twenty keg options, most of which are high ABV. I went for half a 4.1% stout that set me back £3.60, at them prices it’s not surprising that I was the only customer during a recent midweek afternoon visit. While waiting for the friendly barmaid to pour my drink I noted that the keg fonts are on the counter rather than the back bar, exciting stuff! The seating consists of booths and banquettes around the windows and walls and high tables and beer shelves in the centre of the room. The toilets are downstairs past a snug with seating that looks onto a projector screen on the rear wall. It’s a grim overflow area that I expect is currently priority seating during the World Cup. There was a bit of 1970s US pop playing which I liked, but I’m bored of this chain so will walk past next time.
