Will Larter left this review about The Victory
This place opens at 8am, which is way too early for a beer. I had a cup of coffee which was frankly a bit weak and cost £3.40. There is an industrial ceiling with exposed pipes of many types, but exposing them breaks up any hard surface, much like the numerous framed pictures on the walls, thereby keeping the space acoustically neutral. The background music, on the other hand, seems designed to make you throw up your hands in despair, scream "I can't take any more" and run pell mell in the direction of the trains, any train, just get me out of here. For reference, there are two hand pumps, with one beer on from Windsor & Eton, and another "coming soon". Seating is mostly high benches and tables on the station side, and lower chairs on the street side.

Located on the mezzanine level of the station. 1 real ale on during my visit.

E TA left this review about Sports Bar & Grill
A large modern bar on the end of the balcony, larger than it looks from outside. The garish neon sign belies the rather sombre interior, which was rather quiet and darkly decorated. The seating arrangement was cramped and uncomfortable, not conducive to lengthy lunches. Of the three handpumps only 2 were working dispensing Brakspears Bitter and Pedigree, both hideously overpriced at £4.80. The beer was in fair condition, but the food isn't that good and it doesn't justify the high prices when there are much better bars close by.
