Blue Scrumpy left this review about Queens Head Inn
This pub is situated in a gloriously remote location heading up the Llanthony Valley. It does not serve meals, although it has a wide selection of snacks (cakes, chocolate, crisps, sweets etc) and accommodates for both a local trade and for campers, hikers and holidaymakers.
It has a fairly small single room, which is dark in appearance with plenty of stone and a low ceiling. The solitary real ale is Kingstone Classic, which had a rather smoky taste to it.
The landlady was friendly and chatty and the views are splendid. If you can catch this place open, give it a try.
