This hotel bar which is very much one open to the public consists of a wide room with a wooden floor, obtrusive Racing TV and an obtrusive pool table. It was empty on my early Monday evening visit.
Although the bar has three hand pumps two were unused and just Sharp's Atlantic (£3.00) was available which was in decent nick but uninspiring. It was also expensive compared to most other Bangor outlets.
Despite the proximity to the Rail Station I doubt that I would return.

If you have a wait for your train then you can, and will, be in worse pubs than this. Not bad, not great.
