Modern cool bar on a street corner, two real ales, rather unusually sourced by the looks. Nice place

At the top of the main drag. Its a cafe bar type thingy that's aimed at 20 year olds. The pub across the road is better.

Bar 236 is a thin ‘sports café and bar’ that has a modern bright and airy feel. There are plasma screens located throughout that were showing Scottish football via Sky Sports during my visit on Saturday afternoon last week. To the left is seating and a raised area beyond that carries a pool table and is used for random live music nights and probably for the acoustic nights that occur every other Thursday from 20:30. The furniture is made up by a mixture of standard tables and chairs, armchairs and high tables.
The bar is stocked with standard draught alongside Peroni and the lone hand pump was off with a reversed clip.

The service was friendly, but there are better proper pubs that I preferred in the area.
