Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Old Rectory
Impressive building with a self-explanatory name, now converted to a Greene King pub / restaurant with a variety of refurbished seating and dining areas that are unfortunately not as characterful as the exterior would suggest. However, being almost as full as the coronavirus restrictions would allow, the patio beer garden proved a reasonable spot instead, and I enjoyed some good-natured conversation with a couple of locals. Beer-wise, I found IPA, Abbot, Yardbird (£4.40) and Doom Bar as a guest on four of the six handpumps, with two Lilley's ciders on the remaining pair of pulls.
