Strongers . left this review about The Queens Head
The Queens Head has a bar counter to the left that faces a carpeted seating area with a mix of furniture, including banquettes that run up the right-hand wall. There’s a centrally located raised area with a single table and some repurposed keg seating, this area doubles up as a stage at the weekends for the advertised DJ nights. More seating is found at the rear, all of which was empty because I was the only customer early on a recent Thursday evening. However, the extremely friendly barmaid explained that this place comes alive at the weekend. Standard and premium keg were available and I didn’t see any hand pumps for cask. I actually enjoyed my stop off, but I expect that it’s chaos in here at the weekend so I would avoid.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Queen's Head
Not really the customer based pub for me. You enter into a large front room with the bar on the left hand side. Towards the back there was a smaller room set out with tables and chairs, which was sign posted restaurant area. It looked to be not in use very often, as most of the customers in here would be mainly drinkers. On offer was Bombardier at £2.80 a pint.
