Alan Winfield left this review about Sawyers Arms
The Sawyers Arms was a largish pub that was situated just outside the main entrance to the broadmarsh centre.
Once inside there was a very large room that went back quite a bit,the room was carpeted and was fairly comfortable.
The pub was a Home Ales tied house and there were two real ales on the bar with the Home bitter beng a decent drink the other beer was Home mild.
Sadly this pub closed down late in 1987 and was turned into shops.
Yet another Notingham pub gone forever.
