Tris C left this review about Hunter's Moon
Internally ruined in 1996 by a previous occupant according to CAMRA and dating from at least the 1850s, this was originally a pub called the Rose, situated not as stated on their website in South Kensington, but despite the rather down-at-heel feel of Fulham Road, it’s in rather more upmarket Chelsea – false modesty? – albeit located directly opposite The Institute of Cancer Research.
The interior is modern; not modern as in Future Systems, but modern none the less, with ‘sage’ Farrow & Ball colour scheme, a smart rear dining area and lounge-style execution to the front; it’s self-described as a ‘countryside pub’, but if this is the interior designer’s vision of countryside, then it’s one based on experiences which don’t extend beyond the M25.
I can’t remember if I came here in the ‘80s, but curiosity satisfied, I moved on.

Mid terrace pub with a few seats outside ,a front area with lots of bench seating and a sofa,then a rear bar with opposite a drinking shelf with generous padded high stools before around a corner a dining area seperate from the bar.Lots of Farrow & Ball on the wall pannels ,it has an upmarket feel with a screen on mute showing the Olympics.
Friendly welcome and ale choice of Wye Valley HPA and Butty Bach (NBSS 3) on my visit.A good stop for a quick one on the way to South Ken tube.

Newly reopened (again) in November 2019, this former heritage pub was stripped out by some previous incumbents and now has quite a plain 'L'-shaped bar at the front (with the dark green paintwork temporarily enlivened by some seasonal lighting) and larger dining areas further back. One of two handpumps in use, offering Otter Bitter (£4.60), with a reversed Wye Valley clip on the other.
