Requested be closed with reason - Other: I would not list as a pub as more of an events venue without defined opening hours but plenty of scheduled events coming up.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Loose Cannon (City Bar)
Inconspicuous and surprisingly characterless bar housed under the Cannon Street station arches. You think that they would have done more to make use of the space under the barrel-vault roof, but there is just a basic partial mezzanine. Bare brick walls and semi-modern furniture. One news TV and background music (which sounds good, until a train thumps over the points above every few minutes). Sharp's Doom Bar and Atlantic (£4.20) available from two of four handpumps.

Alan Winfield left this review about Loose Cannon (City Bar)
The Loose cannon has a narrow frontage but is much larger than it looks.
Once inside there is a very long oblong shaped room with a small grotty looking area close to the entrance, the main room is very dimly lit,the bar is on the left side, the seating is normal tables and chairs and a few leather settees, the room is carpeted, there is a pol table and darts board to the far end of the room, there is an upstairs area which is above the bar.
The pub has a very high arched brick ceiling as it is under Cannon Street train station, you can hear the trains rumble above.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Doom Bar which was a bit too warm, the other beers were Sharps Atlantic and Deuchars IPA.
The pub seemed in need of a makeover,it was empty on my pre Tuesday dinner rush.
