This is clearly not the place to be on a Sunday afternoon, as it was completely deserted, including bar staff, when I popped in for a drink. It’s the clean, tidy, bland modern lounge of the New County Hotel, with nothing to distinguish it from thousands of other hotel lounges around the country. The draught selection was Guinness, Caledonia Best, Magners cider and St. Mungo lager, but I didn’t stick around to sample any of it.
