The Benchill was a very large 30s built pub that was situated in the middle of the benchill area of Wythenshawe.
When i went in this pub it looked a bit run down from the outside,once inside there were lots of different rooms and i had a drink in the bar which was quite big and very basic.
This pub was a Whitbread tied house and there was one real ale on here which was Whitbread Trophey bitter and this was a decent drink.
The pub seemed to a bit rough and ready.
This pub was pulled down around 2010 and there is now a new development on its site.
