A friendly village pub which seems smaller inside than the frontage implies. Very busy late on a Sunday afternoon, possibly due to a large party in the dining room. Anyway, we perched on stools by the fireplace to enjoy exceptionally good Landlord, attractively served. Other choices were similarly mainstream, Doom, Pedigree etc.
There was a torrential storm going on when we were there, so didn't explore the garden and canalside. There's a caravan/campsite too.
Nice enough pub, worthy of a visit if you are in the area.

The Globe is a decent looking pub spoilt slightly by the sky sports banner.
Once inside here the pub was quite nice and pubby there were three real ales on the bar i had a Drink of Pedigree which was very nice there was also Banks's Mild and Ruddles County.
We thought this was a decent pub in a nice setting.
