Alan Winfield left this review about Crumpsall Hotel
The Crumpsall Hotel was a ugly looking 60s built pub that was on the end of shopping precinct.
Once inside i went into the bar there may have been another room but i did'nt look, the bar was a decent sized room with a lino floor, the pub and customers seemed very rough and also intimidating,i usualy take a seat but on this occasion i stood at the bar looking at the mirror to check what was going on behind me.
This pub was a Joseph Holts tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Holts mild.
I was glad to do this pub but just has glad to get out of it as this was one of the roughest pubs i have been in Manchester.
This pub has now been pulled down as they are redeveloping this part of bury old road.
