Alan Winfield left this review about The Falstaff
The Falstaff was a typical hulme pub that was built in the late 60s and it did'nt look that inviting from the outside.
Once inside there was a decent sized bar and a comfortable lounge i had a drink in the bar which was quite busy, this pub was a Wilsons tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Wilsons bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Wilsons mild.
This pub was open when i took this photo but i had to use the rear entrance.
The pub has now been demolished and this area is now a park and the street that this pub was on is not there anymore.
