Almost under the shadow of the M40 motorway which cuts over the end of the Wycombe valley, this rectangular-shaped pub previously had a pub sign depicting a raceing car and driver who were the 'happy union' (see Steve's photos from 2011). It has a mock-Tudor facade and offers bar billiards, pool and darts as pub games. Likely more than one room in a different life, this is now opened up internally and contains a variety of seating heights. Just the one ale on - Rebellion IPA - and with virtually no-one in attendance on an early Sunday evening, this is scored deliberately low until a revisit is made.
