When i visited the Trumpet Inn it was a proper old basic pub that no hairs and graces,there were a few different rooms and i usually had a drink in the bar which was fairly basic but a decent enough room.
This pub used to be a Shipstones tied house and there were two real ales on the bar with both Shipstones mild and bitter being very drinkable.
I quite liked this pub,the pub is still up and running but i am not sure if there are any real ales on here.

Interesting pub, no real ale selection was limited, I've never known a pub that didn't serve red wine and the landlord had to scratch around for a glass of white, which was more like vinegar
