Camborne is a typical Cornish town where the branch of Wetherspoon's is the best it gets for real ale drinkers. It is a spacious branch with quite a few references to the local mining industry, including 17 mining lamps hanging from the ceiling near the bar, 4 mining helmets on a wall next to the kitchen and door handles in the shape of shovels.
The bar is on the left, the kitchen to the rear right. The usual gaming machines are present.
Regular beers are Greene King Abbot, Ruddles Best & Sharp's Doom Bar. There are also 3 guests, which were Black Hole Supernova, Titanic White Star & Vale Black Beauty. Ciders were Healey's Flattler Strawberry & Lime, Weston's Rosie's Pig & Old Rosie & Gwynt y Ddraig Black Dragon.
Accommodation is available. Probably one of the chain's better branches.

Fairly modern Spoons (a 2011 opener) in a tidy-looking building. Grey and white shades inside, an unusual sloping boxed bar upper with a random silver tree in the middle of the raised seating area. Much is made of the size and yes it’s certainly bigger than you’d expect for a town of Camborne’s size but on both my evening visits the place had plenty of bums-on-seats. Football on the TV, unusual. Three guest ales, my Exeter Grubber was fine (NBSS 3). Fairly swift app service despite looking understaffed at first glance so it’s a well-run operation. I stayed here for a couple of nights and had an excellent room for a very reasonable price.

Ridiculously-large Wetherspoon's with hotel attached. A reasonable selection of ales and plenty of room, although service was a bit patchy. Tidy, but not much atmosphere.
