Returned in August this year to enjoy a late breakfast and a swift half. Unchanged since my previous review. A popular option in Cleveleys and I almost struggled to find a table.

Busy (but not uncomfortably so) when I visited at around 11am on a Monday morning in June, with a mix of young and older people in. Outdoor seating to the front made for a nice sun trap, though I elected to sit indoors and soak up the ambience.
Two banks of hand pulls atop the bar, and the two guest ales I sampled were in good nick. Service was friendly. Toilets were clean. All ground level so no hiking experience required to visit the toilets. Indoors is fairly open plan but a number of booths do help to break it up a bit.
I liked this one and I will likely be back.

A bit of effort has been made in here given it’s a shop conversion, and of note is a lovely ecclesiastical-styled bar back and a silver embossed ceiling dado. Interior broken in half lengthways by a line of booths. Just two guest ales on though quality was excellent, my Harviestoun Bitter and Twisted was an easy NBSS 4. Rammed on early Saturday evening (I had the last table available) and rightly so. A good Spoons.
