Will Larter left this review about Pant Yr Ardd

I thought I was faced by an empty hand pump, but on enquiry it turned out there was a card propped up with no means of clipping it to the handle. It turned out to be Westwood Cheshire Cat, renamed as Cath Sir Gaer for Welsh consumers, or in my case consumers who happen to be in Wales. I get the impression that the pub was having some DIY improvements carried out while keeping the normal hours, or maybe it's always a little chaotic. Only a further visit will tell. The couple who run the pub were pleasant and welcoming, if a little flustered, and my pint of the Weetwood was good without being brilliant; a little colder than I normally like it, but after a five or six mile walk out from Bangor on the Lon Las Gelig, a former railway track, it went down a treat. The bus back to Bangor from very near the pub is hourly and takes less than 20 minutes.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about Pant Yr Ardd

The solitary pub in the village of Tregarth, Pant Yr Ardd has a couple of small rooms. On our Sunday afternoon visit, everybody was in the right-hand room where live football was being shown on a couple of TVs. The room to the left didn't seem to be regularly used and looked a little cluttered.

Dogs and families are welcome. There is a rather potholed car park with an overgrown beer garden on the opposite side of the road. The real ale was Glaslyn. Nothing really to write home about. Just, a simple local village pub.
