This pub has been totally transformed for the better thanks to new owners Susan and Stuart. I find this pub very comfortable and very relaxing. There's a very good menu and all their food is locally sourced, I found my meal to be very good and would return here for the food alone. Staff and owners very friendly, one guest beer a week which is well kept. I've enjoyed the Byker Light and Northumberland ale on my visits.
