CLOSED pub about a mile outside the town centre,which managed to survive the slum clearance of the surrounding area,possibly due to it's close proximity to Blackburn's greyhound track which had meetings twice a week.The dog track was demolished in 1985 to make way for a Tesco store,and think the pub closed due to lack of trade.The pub did open again as an Irish themed pub called Katy Daly's for a while.
