After a period know as Tanner and Noah's Ark, this traditional high street boozer reverted back to its original name in 2018. It's still tied to Palmers, and it's still more of a sports bar than a proper pub, though they do now offer Sunday lunches. Only two ales on Dorset Gold and IPA, both in poor condition and served with a sneer by an apathetic young barmaid. Keg choices were Carlsberg, Moretti, Amstel and Dorset Pale. The decor is shabby, and you have to wade through a mat of soggy fag butts when you enter by the front door. There is a dartboard, multiple TV screens, a juke box and a dartboard. Not worth the effort.

The Tanners is at the end of the shopping street.
This pub is a Palmers tied house but once inside here the pub is a bit of a dissapointment it seemed very bare and i was the only customer in here,the pub is more of a sports bar there was only one real ale on here which was Bridport bitter this drink was'nt that good.
