Quite a plain staple shaped bar serving a standard keg selection.

The Royal Hotel has the bar area in the adjoined building to the right called the Royal Bar. The place is modern and is in keeping with a well run hotel. There was no real ale available but has Tennents and Belhaven Best on tap.
