Once through the main entrance, you walk along the main corridor to the rear of the Hotel, to find a small bar which serves two rooms. The front of the bar had a hand painted mural of Dunstanburgh Castle. Two ales on the bar TT Landlord and Jarrow Rivet Catcher. The Richet Catcher was in good shape and prices were ok. The hotel is well run and the manageress was friendly and chatty.
