Now a Chinese restaurant. Back in the day it was alright (for Staines), during the day, like a mini-Wetherspoons but in a bad location opposite the (now thankfully demolished) 60's shops, just too far away from the pedestrianised shopping centre to attract many customers. It was a decent bet for the Five Nations as the TV's were top-notch and had their aspect ratios set correctly, back at a time where many were not. There was usually a token ale on (Pride/Bombardier, if I recall correctly) plus 'Spoons-style food. It did used to get a bit rough in the evenings though, earning it the lovely nickname of 'The Litter Tray'. I can't hate it but I won't miss it much either.
